Teaching Qualifications and Experience
Master's Degree in English obtained in 1973. Master's Degree in French as a foreign language in 2001. Experience in teaching French to non-native speakers of many nationalities.
Brigitte loves teaching French and has a passion for the South of France. She likes lively conversation and will help you bring your language skills to another level. She will be happy to introduce you to the authentic Marseilles and Provence and accompany you on activities which are of specific interest to you. Do not hesitate to tell her your own passions.
Hobbies and interests
Good food, good wine, but also theatre, opera, dance, painting, and hiking, swimming, water skiing and many other activities.

The little village of Les Lecques, its beach, its old port, the Calanques (classified natural reserve where you can snorkel and enjoy the amazing scenery), Provence (its hilltop villages and traditional markets), the festivals, the wine cellars (from Chateauneuf-du-pape to Cote de Bandol), the glamorous Côte d'Azur, the countryside and the mountains (such as the Sainte Victoire moutain as painted by Cézanne or la Sainte Baume with its 12th century monastery) according to your desire.
With its many picturesque and typically Provençal villages and hidden treasures, the area offers a large selection of itineraries inland or on breathtaking coastal roads. Excursions may include: Saint Tropez, Cannes and Monaco.
Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area
Your accommodation is in a pleasant, new and comfortable villa five minutes walk to the village where there are many local shops and restaurants. You can enjoy walking along the beach. There is a large garden with more than two hundred years olive trees. You will have a double bedroom, your private bathroom, your private terrace and an Internet-connected computer at your disposal. Brigitte, her family and friends will be very pleased to introduce you to traditional French cooking, wines and many other outdoor activities. (Brigitte will give you the recipe to make your own olives !) You can be assured that you will be warmly welcomed and will feel at home there.
